BULLETIN?

  • on the way home from the funeral on monday, bill was telling me what one of his cousins told him about jax. and then bill said, “we must have done something right.” i said “i think so. we don’t do it PRETTY, but we do SOMETHING right.”
  • there’s a house that i see every morning on my way to work. i think it was early october that they put a headless dummy in their front yard. it’s leaning against a tree “watching” the traffic come down the street. at the time i assumed it was a halloween decoration. i’m not so sure anymore, cuz it’s still there, watching me every morning. i’ve examined this thing as closely as i can from the window of the flying beetle (bill drives me; and i’m not sure, but i think he drives even faster than his normal outside-the-law personal speed limit past this thing). i’m looking for clues (in the posture of the “man,” “his” clothing,” anything) as to the message the homeowners are trying to send, but i am totally at a loss. i think i’m going to suggest an alternate route.

  • there was something else i wanted to write, but i can’t remember. stay tuned.

  • if my first attempt at adding html code to a post (all by myself) works, this list is bulleted. if it is, i’m so proud.
  • it is! IT IS! gimme some lovin!

Ouch, that "outside-the-law personal speed limit" hurts. I have been driving more conservatively recently.

I'm thinking of putting a "Bush" name tag on that headless dummy; since that is an apt description of him.

    Wow! Bullets! Now, you're dangerous!

I've always thought that it was what you did that counted, not how you looked doing it. A friend who played tennis with me years ago told me that I looked ridiculous on the court, but always got the ball over the net where he couldn't get it. I'll take a win over style any day.
    And congrats on the bullets.

    1. I have also said that before - you and Bill did good *hugs*
    2. Can't you take a photograph of it and then we can make up a story for you.
    3. I get like that sometimes.
    4. Wow!! That is great work, you little geek you.
