I think this underscores that the 2002 games were essentially a govt-funded boondoggle. Without Uncle Sam's helping hand they've have been laid out on their backs like a luger. What's the problem, didn't they care enough to take responsibility for their own problems? Sounds like the 2002 Olympics were part of the part of America that has bought into the culture of dependency that puts them in the Obama camp. 47% is a radical undercalculation!
