I never miss the Sopranos.. EVER. About the rest I haven't seen American Idol or Survivor. Although with the media hype how can I not know of the controversy. The Apprentice is the only reality tv show that got me. Like you, I was channel surfing and got totally sucked in like a big dog.
Posted by Charlene at April 29, 2004 11:13 AMI refuse to watch "those" reality shows, I do not want to be sucked in to watching them.
Argh I just heard on the news that StarBucks is raising their prices. I have to find some cheaper habits!
arghhhh. i can't log in to fix that "paula abdul night" thing. gloria estefan. GLORIA ESTEFAN! help, bill! BILLLLLLLLL!!!!
Posted by stacey at April 29, 2004 01:27 PMSeriously not trying to sound like a snob because I hate that, but we know we would be sucked into a lot of tv if we had a tv, so we are really glad we don't get a signal for tv here and have never attempted to get a dish (expense, and the tv addiction factor)... anyway, as I've said I hear a lot (way too much) about reality tv on the radio in the morning when taking Kel to the bus stop and get the whole play by play of Idol at that time and I looooove Simon, too! Especially that most people hate him. I'm evil that way. :)

Posted by stacey at April 29, 2004 02:43 PMOn "the red headed guy": Little Missy was beside herself with giddiness when his ass was finally voted off last night.
On Starbucks: They currently have pissed me of ROYALLY as they took away my Mocha Malt Frappucino and replaced it with some Java Chip, another Vanilla, and a F****** Strawberry Frappucino.
Who the hell goes to Starbucks for STRAWBERRY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Posted by kathy at April 29, 2004 11:46 PMOaky - he couldn't sing. But, he was so cute! I have a red-headed grandson, so maybe I am biased. Of course, Connor doesn't go around trying to sing like the Chairman.
Posted by Cowtown Pattie at April 30, 2004 08:49 AMWe get the Sopranos here but I never got into it so I never watch it. My favourite shows are Alias, 24 and CSI and The Agency. The only reality shows I enjoy - The Amazing Race mainly as they go to various countries and it is nice to see that and Survivor which I don't get into too much because it has become more acting than anything else. There is an Australian Reality Show which I enjoyed called The Block which was about 4 couples who had to each renovate an apartment on a strict budget.
