Comments: "Freedom? That Is a Yang Worship Word."

Your comparison to the 60's is sadly fitting. I desperately wish it were not, but I am frustrated and angry to the point of nausea about the inevitable results on so many levels of Bush's blind politics. Thanks for such a lucid post.

Do you suppose every generation has a natural fear of the future for their offspring, and will it ever be otherwise?

Kman and I discussed this very thing the other night; the death of the middle class, skilled blue-collared workers and a growing apathy to the plight of the less fortunate. I felt this way back when Reagan was in office as well. I just wished I could be passionate about supporting Kerry. I have no illusions that the Democrats have all the answers, or that they, too, don't goose-step with Big Business. But, their platform is all I have to represent me. I do believe the time is ripe for a third party to gain momentum, but the apathy I speak of is a mountain to overcome.

Education, meaningful and real wage-earning employment, health and age-related issues, the environment, the deficit, and our goodwill value overseas are my main concerns. I feel for the Iraqi people, I wish them the best. I don't feel it is a situation that America can solve in my lifetime, and I believe the whole affair was politically motivated folly, hiding behind the skirts of oppressed women and their children.

Luckily you have the right to free speech in your country so your loyal fans will not have to send you food parcels to your prison.

Dear Homeland Security People,

I've never met these people before in my entire life. Go harass Kathy Howe over at Kazoofus; she knows 'em.

I don't know anything about any war. Make love, not riots. Power to the household appliances!

Yours in bBush,
X

I can take on Homeland Security blindfolded and with my arms tied behind my back. grrrrrrrrr...

Has the DHS been visiting your blog too?

Just wondering.

Of course DHS is monitering our every move. We are smart enough, lucky enough, to have a computer and know how to use one. Unlike the youngsters they want to bring up under their feet. So, thank you for being here!

My boyfriend (partner? SO? The guy I live with) has frequent insomnia due to his anger over Bush. He recently started a blog of all Haiku because he said the only way he can deal with four more years of Bush is to write a Haiku every day.

I don't know what we are going to do. Fortunately (or not) my kids will still be kids when the fucker finally can't serve anymore.

But I am still hoping for a miracle in November.
