I agree...

You should be a friggin matchmaker, Stacey.
Wasn't I sitting on your couch last month sipping a mocha when you said "YOU KNOW WHO WOULD BE PERFECT FOR EACHOTHER?"
Yeah...I think I was.
You said this very well...I know exactly what you mean. You and Billy are the 2nd and 3rd bloggers that I have ever met and after 'cyber-knowing' you for a rather long time (has it been two years yet?) I would say you are exactly as I imagined you to be: WONDERFUL!
Posted by Kathy Howe at September 21, 2004 04:23 PMI met two bloggers this summer (in Washington, but Philip was not one of them) and was happy to know that I still liked them in real life, too.
I think my actual ring of bloggers is small; I have some links up that I don't click on very often. Maybe it's time to do something about that.
But I have been very lucky-- meanness and fights? Wow, I think I have been very very lucky in the blogosphere.
I understand Philip's silence too. Not that that will stop me from trying to get him to post about *something* for Pete's sake!
But I know what you mean about new blogs. Usually, I won't keep going to a new blog unless I have been "introduced"-- such as by a situation like this. I saw everyone posting at figpaste for months before I finally started reading Kathy, and then Dana and then Lucy and then you guys! But everything comes back to Philip, whom I read more than the person through whom I first found him.
It's funny, isn't it, how just in real life you gravitate to certain people and become friends, whereas with others you stay acquaintances and smile and nod at the grocery store. Some blogs and bloggers you just "click" with and others you read once and continue on your merry way.
I'll stop writing about this. I swear.
