Well said, Stacey!

When I hear things like what that poster wrote, I seriously have little panic attacks.

the stupidity of some of my fellow americans is almost more dumbfounding than the stupidity of our president.

What really bugs me is that people don't understand that the soldiers don't all believe in what they're doing over in Iraq either (or AT LEAST how it's being done). I talk to friends on AIM that have served over there, and they can't even talk about it because it gets them so upset. There are plenty of soldiers that support Kerry (or at least the opposite of Bush) and the agenda of Iraq being a poor decision/being done poorly. Of course, it's a limited sample, but at the same time, to lump all of them together is a disservice to the PERSONAL and HEARTFELT sacrifice that they are giving.

They joined to serve our country, not the talking monkey that we call a president.

AND what bugs me EVEN MORE is the fact that HE uses them as a fucking tool. They're not only little green army men, they're his political weapon. His comments in the debate tonight sickened me.

I assumed Bill was speaking out of respect, particularly for the families. I thought the paragraph about Lance Cpl. Drew M. Uhles was especially moving. I haven't read 'the comment' yet.

We don't bring up our sons just to have their lives thrown away.

Very well put Stacey.

I had always thought it was cool of Bill to take the time and honor the names when he listed them. Don't hold back Stacey girl!
