Let us not forget:
Monday: Make homemade chicken soup for sick Lucy
Tuesday: Fed Ex frozen chicken soup to Miss Lucy so that she gets it still partially frozen on Wednesday morning.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
(and the cashew brittle? the little scavenger demons, i mean my lovely children, have already scarfed most of it down. Now they're going to think that Mrs. L-- sends us yummies every week- every day! They LOVE Mrs. L!)
Posted by lucy at March 9, 2005 02:51 PMStacey, not to be personal or anything, but are you perhaps riding the about to turn 50 roller coaster with me? I mean, please, I've gone from seeing the doctor only on the rarest of occasions to having to put all my medication in the blue M T W T F S S snappy top thingie so I can remember if I took it or not. Hmmmph.
Posted by Vicki at March 9, 2005 05:01 PMYum, cashew brittle. Thanks Stacey and Bill. Lucy, how long did the four of you stretch it out? I bet the three of us set a new record.
God, i've had my meds in that snappy-toppy thing for the past two years, Vicki! LOL...
:)
I'm sorry you are having to go through this.
Posted by Keri at March 9, 2005 06:08 PMLike the famous saying: "Gettin' old ain't for sissies"
How true.
I did see a great T-shirt slogan the other day:
"Put On Your Big Girl Panties and Deal With It"
I am remembering this for when my darling offspring are whining about some atrocities the world has flung on their youthful butts.
Speedy recovery!
Vicky and Keri: I've got a snappy top thingy too. My problem is finding it every day.
Stacey: hang on in there, you will soon have perfect knees, more than the rest of us have got!
Snappy top thingy?
Just kidding. I have one too.
Hang in there, Stace. Think of it has having your own personal trainer, like Jennifer Garner, only you get to eat cashew brittle too.
