There are a group of people around here (in central, 6 hrs away from the beach, PA) that go scuba diving in local flooded mining holes. They say that all the mining equipment and stuff is still down there. It gives me the creeps just thinking about it. Not as much as the words "lamprey eel" though.

I love to swim in the lake and the ocean, but prefer clear water. I used to live on the Texas coast, went out deep sea fishing and I know what lives in those waters. Right after Jaws came out, I had a hard time not panicking everytime I went deeper than my ankles. Got over it... a little. Once when swimming in Cancun (whose turquoise waters are absolutely stunning) - out of the corner of my eye I saw a large underwater shadow swim fairly close to me - Jesus had nothing on me that day.

So you fall asleep before the end of the film too.

So you won't go shark-cage diving when you come to Cape Town? *lol*.

Anyhoo.... you should drive on the left side - you Americans drive on the wrong side of the road *wink*.
