Comments: Harriet Miers Uncovered!!

Wow! This entry really made me think! (Scary...me thinking at such an early hour with not enough caffeine in me) I never thought about being a spouse and parent being a prerequisite for the job, but it makes sense.

Now it has also occured to me that you, being a lawyer, could actually be a supreme court judge one day. THAT is a thought I will ponder all day. The things you could do with that much power...

Where's a good Barbara Jordan when you need her?

Not married (batted for the other team), no children, but a very brilliant woman, IMHO. You never had to guess where Miss Jordan stood on an issue.

Can you imagine the feeding frenzy today if she were nominated to the Big Hoity Toity Court?

annnnnnnnd she's dropped out. I finally saw the totally cool notes that she sent to the Bushman. She really thought he was cool, didn't she? Yeah, that was a bitchin' note she sent him. Wow. She sounded really with it and hip and together and part of the now, didn't she? god. I can't even speak today-speak and I have a teenager. Glad she's out of the running.
