Young woman: I can't afford one. I'm not working.
Judge: I'll appoint a lawyer to represent you then at no cost to you.
Young woman: I can't afford a court-appointed lawyer.
Judge: "At no cost" means you don't have to pay.
Young woman: Oh. That'll be okay then.
