G'NIGHT ROGER

warning to kathyhowe: this first bit is about sports. you might wanna skip down the page a bit.

  • so glad to see you getting your ass kicked, rog. bummer. i don't think your next retirement party will be as nice.

  • umm. i got nothin' else here.

  • oh wait. i DO have one more thing. still sports related though. you probably don't know this cuz bill doesn't talk about it, but bill was an all-american catcher (two years) in college. back when all-american meant something. sports-wise. he was invited to spring training with the texas rangers and declined. had already made the law school decision. funny though. we're trying to figure out if george the lesser was running the rangers back then. i'm not gonna research it -- i'm just enjoying the irony. don't ruin it for me.

    boy, no kidding, cp! don't even get me started on the ways these guys wear their uniforms now. dumb.

    tw: pfffft. but nolan ryan WAS pitching, so that would have made up for it.

    Nope........ navy uniform does it for me.

    And here I thought Texas Ranger was a series on TV starring Chuck Norris. Way to go Bill - you have hidden talents.
